Nala's Faith Haven, Inc. believes every person is made in God's image and deserves a welcome. We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use our website and reach us easily.
Our commitment
We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We review the site when we make changes and work to fix any barriers we find.
What we have done
- Text descriptions (alt text) for meaningful images
- A clear heading structure and page regions, plus a "Skip to main content" link
- Every link, button, and tool can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline
- Color contrast checked against WCAG AA in our red, black, and white design
- Clear labels on buttons and links, including our Give buttons and QR codes, and spoken confirmation when the Zelle number is copied
- Tap-to-give links next to every QR code, so you never need to scan one
- Respect for your device's "reduce motion" setting
- Pages that work when zoomed up to 200% and on phones
- Automated accessibility testing together with manual checks
Known limitations
- Our Give buttons open Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle (your bank). Those services are run by other companies, and we cannot control how accessible they are.
- Our Facebook page is run on Facebook's platform and follows Facebook's accessibility features.
If you cannot use any part of our site, we are glad to help another way. We can share information by phone or email, or take your gift by check.
