Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 5, 2026

Nala's Faith Haven, Inc. ("Nala's Faith Haven," "we," "us") is a Florida nonprofit corporation and faith-based Christian discipleship housing ministry in Boynton Beach, Florida. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect through nalasfaithhaven.org (the "site") and when you contact us, and how we use it.

The short version: this is a simple information website. It has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking tools, and we do not set cookies. We never sell your information.

1. Information we collect

Information you choose to give us. When you call, text, or email us (for example to ask about a bed, give, volunteer, or pray with us), we receive whatever you share, such as your name, phone number, email address, and details about your situation. Some of this may be personal or sensitive, like your housing needs, faith journey, or recovery history. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. We treat it as confidential and use it only to respond to you and, if you ask about housing, to talk with you about whether our homes are a good fit.

Technical information. Our site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like most websites, when you visit, Cloudflare automatically processes basic technical information so it can deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks and abuse. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, the referring page, and the date and time. Cloudflare may keep this information in its logs. In limited cases Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people apart from bots. We do not use this information to identify or profile visitors. You can read about Cloudflare's practices in its privacy policy (opens in new tab).

No cookies or analytics from us. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or similar tracking tools. Our fonts are stored on our own site, so viewing the site does not send your information to a font service. The small scripts on our Give section (copying our Zelle number and opening the Venmo app) run only on your device and do not send anything to us.

2. Gifts and payment processors

We accept gifts through Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle, and by check. When you give online, you leave our site and the payment is handled by that company (or, for Zelle, by your own bank). They collect and protect your payment details under their own privacy policies, which we do not control:

We do not receive your full card or bank account number. We typically receive your name, the amount and date of your gift, any note you include, and any contact information the processor shares with us. If you give by check, we see the information printed on the check. We use this information to record and acknowledge gifts, keep accurate financial records, and meet legal and reporting requirements. Note that Venmo activity may be visible to others depending on your own Venmo privacy settings.

3. How we use information

  • To answer your questions and return your calls, texts, and emails
  • To talk with you about housing, our house standards, and availability
  • To receive, record, and thank you for gifts
  • To keep the site secure and working
  • To meet our legal, tax, and charitable-registration obligations

4. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only:

  • with your permission;
  • with service providers that help us run the ministry and the site (such as our hosting, email, phone, and payment providers), only as needed for them to provide their services;
  • if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect someone's safety in an emergency.

5. Links to other sites

Our site links to other websites and services, including our Facebook page and the Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle sites. When you follow those links, that company's own privacy policy and terms apply, including Meta's Privacy Policy (opens in new tab) for Facebook. We are not responsible for how other sites handle your information.

6. How long we keep information and how we protect it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires (for example, financial records). We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to people in our ministry who need it. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so please do not send things like full bank or card numbers by email or text.

7. Children's privacy

Our site is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your choices

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Email info@nalasfaithhaven.org or call (561) 424-6842. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we may need to keep certain records when the law requires it (such as records of gifts).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
